Like many other people, my assumption was that if a company like tripadvisor links to a booking engine they have judged it to be legit. Web trustpilot suggests this is a common scam: Web vio lies!… they let me book a hotel at a place that looked condensed and undergoing renovations. I would have not booked this standard room had i known. The on line booking repeated twice that our payment had failed, and told us to try again. But the outstanding customer service recieved afterwards, more than made up for it! The front desk girl was very kind though, feel bad for her! The room smelled like straight urine and the doors required pulling super hard. Vio reels you in with a price for an upgraded room, but once you make payment, the room changes to a standard. Vio.com used to be findhotel.net.from what i can tell, no, vio.com does. I would have not booked this standard room had i known. No pool or amenities like was told we’d have.
